Mr. Atul Kumar Nasa is the President of Indian Pharmacy Graduates' Association (IPGA) & Managing Trustee of IPGA WELFARE TRUST. He is also President of Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association (IPCA) and Vice President of All India Drugs Control Officers Confederation (AIDCOC). Mr. Nasa passed Post Graduate Degree in Pharmacy from Delhi University in the year 1986 and worked as a Lecturer in Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research (DIPSAR) New Delhi from 1987 to 1992 and later on joined Drugs Control Department, Government of NCT of Delhi in the year 1992. Mr. Nasa was elected as an Associate of ‘Institute of Chemists (India)' in 1988 and subsequently awarded Fellowship of the said institution in 1993. Mr. Nasa has been awarded the “Regulatory Person of the Year award” by 54th IPC Welfare Trust, Pune in the year 2009. Mr. Nasa has also been awarded Best Drugs Inspector Award at Mumbai by All India Drugs Control Officers Confederation (AIDCOC) for his outstanding and sincere contribution to Drugs Control Organisation in November, 2011.
Shripati Singh, best known as S.P.Singh, General Manager, D.I.C., Nalanda ( Ind. Deptt., Bihar Govt.). Hon. Gen. Sec. IPGA Bihar Branch, Jt. Sec. IPGA CEC & LOC 65th IPC. LM / IPGA - 261. Founder Gen. Sec. IPGA Bihar Branch ( 10.01.1982). Have participated in several IPC's as LOC member, Chairman Scintific Committees / Souvenir Committees. DOB - 06.07.1954, Blood Group - O+ve, B.Pharm. (1978), M.Pharm. (1980) both from I.T., B.H.U., Eight Research Papers in credit, out of which three are published in 'PHYTOCHEMISTRY' published from Geat Britain. Six years Teaching experience at B.Pharm. label and more than 28 years administrative experience in Industries Deptt., Bihar Govt.
B. Pharm & M. Pharm from Jadavpur University, Pharmaceutical Technology Dept. He joined Directorate of Drugs Control as Drugs Inspector of in the year 1986. He is presently serving as Assistant Director cum licensing authority of Birbhum district, West Bengal. Additionally he holds positions like Secretary of the Technical Officers Association (West Bengal Drugs control) since 1987, Executive Committee Member of West Bengal State Pharmacy Council from 1990 to 2013, and President of IPGA Bengal Branch since 2013. He was one of the main activists of movement for Directorate of Drugs Control which was achieved in the year 2004.
Dr.Dhirendra Kaushik is M. Pharm., Ph. D.and have a work experience of more than 10 years & 7 years in research. His specialization is in Pharmacology (Molecular Biology, Clinical Pharmacology). He is representing President in Indian Pharmacy Graduate's Association (IPGA), Kurukshetra Local Chapter, General Secretary in Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) of CPCSEA and represented as Joint Secretary in Kurukshetra University Teachers Association (KUTA).
M.Pharma., B.Pharma from Andhra University. Currently Managing Director and CEO – Suraksha Pharma Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad. Recipient of ‘Indian Leadership Award for Industrial Development’ conferred. Instituted ‘M.Nageswara Rao Award for Excellency’ for best M.Pharm student in Andhra university . Felicitated by Andhra university vice chancellor as one of the best Alumunii. Organized and delivered many seminars and workshops as part of IPGA. Attended many international and national conferences as Chairperson / Co-Chairperson.
Senior Officer at FDA Maharashtra. He has been awarded IPGA Fellowship Award, 2014 at LPU, Punjab.
Prof (Dr.) Arun Garg has been serving as a General Secretary of Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association from past six years and has served the association for three terms (six years) as treasurer. He did his post graduation in Pharmacology from Delhi University in 1986 under the guidance of Prof (Dr.) S.S. Agarwal and Doctorate from Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai in 2006. He served AICTE New Delhi as an Asst. Director for three years. He also served GGS Indraprastha University as Course Co-ordinator from 2000 to 2004. Prof. Garg has been associated with Quality Pharmacy Education as an academician from past 26 years. Presently he is serving as Director in PDM College of Pharmacy, Bahadurgarh. His research on Hepatotoxicity & Liver Regeneration was recognized by Indian Pharmacological Society and was awarded Dr.B. Mukherjee Award- for best paper in Indian Journal of Pharmacology. He has successfully made the Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association a charitable organization, exempted from Income tax on donations under section 80-G of Income Tax Act.
Presently working as General Manager of state owned IDPL at its Rishikesh Plant. Did B.Pharm and M.Pharm from Bananas Hindu University in the years 1976 & 1978 respectively. President of the IPGA Uttarakhand state branch. Also associated with the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission - presently member of one of the expert committees. Also, has been nominated by Kumaun University, Nainital as external technical expert for the Faculty Board. Also on the Board of Studies of another Pharmacy Institute in Rajasthan. Has been a member of State Pharmacy Council of Uttarakhand and also working group on Bio informatics, Ministry of IT, Govt. of India. Has guided No. of B.Pharm (Hons.) & M.Pharm students of several institutions for their Project / Dissertation work.
Mr. Vijay Bhalla has been serving as a Treasurer of Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association from past six years and has actively involved with the association from last 20 years. He did Diploma in Pharmacy in the year 1980 and Bachelor of Pharmacy from Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) from Delhi University in 1983. Having obtained the Masters degree in Pharmacy from Delhi University in the year 1985, started his career with Upjohn a US based multinational organization as a Medical Representative, later worked with Pharmaceutical giants like Hindustan Ciba Geigy, Sandoz, Novartis in various capacities. Having the flair and acumen for teaching Mr. Bhalla joined UP Technical University as Associate Professor in the year 2005 and was elevated as Head of Department, Dean Academics and Principal at various institutes. He is serving as Director in Lloyd School of Pharmacy, Greater Noida.
Mr. Bhanu Dua has been served as a General Secretary of Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association for six years and has served the association for one term (two years) as a President.
B.Pharm.(BITS), M.Pharm. (Punjab Univ.), retired as Dy Drugs Controller, Delhi Govt.serving for 35 years. Authored books on GMP,GLP, Validation and Cosmetics. Founder member of IPGA and its former Secretary and President. Has been member of Pharmacy Council of India and its past Vice President and currently Pharm. Technical Consultant. Currently, Guest faculty and Pharmaceutical Consultant.
He has been actively involved with the Indian Pharmacy Graduates' Association (IPGA) since last 15 years. He did Bachelor of Pharmacy in the year 1991 from Amravati University (M.S.) and M.Pharm., Ph.D from SGSITS, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore (M.P.) in the year 1999 and published 12 research papers in various national and international journals. Dr. Ajay Sachan has worked as a Drugs Inspector in Drugs Control Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi from 2001 to 2013. Presently, he is working as Asstt. Drugs Controller (India), CDSCO, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India.
