In association with IPGA, 61th National pharmacy week 2022 was conducted by Dr. C. V. Raman University, Kota, Bilaspur, (C.G.) from 26th September 2022 to 27th September 2022 based on the Theme: "Pharmacist: An Integral Part of Healthcare". The theme drawn special attention to the trust in the health sector and the practice of pharmacy. This event was inaugurated with Guest lecture by Shri Radhe Shyam, Senior executive HBP, Apollo Hospital, Bilaspur (C.G.) Shri Samarpan Sharma, Senior Pharmacist, Apollo Hospital, Bilaspur (C.G.), Pharma Rally, Poster, Slogan and Rangoli Competition. Students participated actively in various competitions and bagged prizes.
It was a 4 day's program from 24th to 27th September having number of events in it to advocate and appreciate the role of pharmacist in improving health care around the world Pharmacist Day 2022 was celebrated with tremendous joy by all staff as well as the students. At the beginning Dr. Shruti Rathore Principal of institution discussed various activities organized by the institute on the occasion of World Pharmacist Day. Mr. Ankit Jain Vice Chairman of the LCIT School of Pharmacy blessed all the staff members and students with his kind words. Dr Manju Rawat Singh, President, IPGA CG State Branch, Raipur CG joined the program online , was the Chief Guest and discussed the theme of this year of Pharmacist Day i.e. “Pharmacy United in action for a healthier world”. The students and members of faculty then took the pharmacist oath collectively to remind their role towards the society and health care system. To celebrate this day various events were organized like pharmacy cricket league, plantation drive, short clip video making competition, volley ball league, pharma rally, quiz competition, model presentation, tug of war. Students showed great enthusiasm to be a part of the events. The aim of organizing various events on the occasion of world pharmacist day to make Pharmacist feel special and proud in healthcare community. The valedictory function was completed with various cultural events on 25th September with the presence of 500 students. Columbia Institute of Pharmacy [CIP] in association with Indian Pharmaceutical Graduate Association [IPGA], Raipur celebrated World Pharmacist Day 2022 on 24th september 2022. World Pharmacist Day was celebrated to pay tribute to all those pharmacist who are providing service with kindness and honesty. For the celebration of World Pharmacist Day, 3 D Poster competition and Packaging for Various dosage form was organized on the theme “Pharmacy United in action for a Healthier World”, in which the students took part enthusiastically. Programme started with saraswati vandana and lamp lihtening. Oath’s taking ceremony was conducted by Mr. Gunjan Kalyani. The program was organized in presence of Prof. Ravindra Kumar Pandey, General Secretary of Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association & Professor, CIP. The members of IPGA Chhattisgarh branch were present in the event.
Columbia Institute of Pharmacy [CIP] in association with Indian Pharmaceutical Graduate Association [IPGA], Raipur celebrated World First Aid Day and International Literacy Day 2022 on 12th September 2022. International Literacy Day was celebrated on 08th September and World First Aid Day was celebrated on 12th September. For the celebration of International Literacy Day, Essay Competition was organized, in which the students took part enthusiastically. For the celebration of World First Aid Day; the institute organized Quiz Competition. The program was organized by Prof. Ravindra Kumar Pandey, General Secretary of IPGA & Professor, CIP. The members of IPGA Chhattisgarh; Dr. Beena Gidwani and Ms. Monika Bhairam were present in the event. The members of IPGA Chhattisgarh Ms. Neha Dubey and Ms. Shilpa Sahu were the committee members and Head of the committee. Ms. Dubey explained about the First Aid to all the students. The competition was judged by the Mr. Gunjan Kalyani and Mr. Sagar Sahu.
