Prof. Manju Rawat Singh

Dr. Manju Singh is presently serving as Professor at the University Institute of Pharmacy, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur (C.G.), India -one of the oldest and largest universities in the state. With over twenty-one years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Singh’s research focuses on elucidating pathophysiological mechanisms and developing novel treatments for autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, protein and peptide delivery systems, dermal drug delivery and dermatokinetics, topical systems for autoimmune diseases, and experimental design employing advanced statistical and mathematical modelling approaches in collaboration with national and international institutions, including the University of Mississippi, IIT Bhilai, and IIT Hyderabad. She has published over 150 research papers in reputed national and international journals, authored several book chapters, and holds two international and three Indian patents, with two more filed. Her research has been widely cited, with 7,971 Google Scholar citations (h-index: 38; i10-index: 110) and 4,323 Scopus citations (h-index: 34). She has executed multiple research projects funded by prestigious agencies such as ICMR, UGC, CGCOST, IBITF, and DST. She also provides consultancy to pharmaceutical start-ups in dosage form design and stability studies. She is in Reviewer Panel of International/ National research Foundation such as Czech Science Foundation | GACR | Department of Medical and Biological Sciences 2025, U.S.-Israel Binational Science Foundation 2024, Council of Science & Technology U.P. Dr. Singh’s illustrious career is adorned with several honours, including the DHR-ICMR International Young Indian Biochemical Scientist Award (2014–15) for research at the School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutics, University of Mississippi, Oxford, USA, in 2015, APTI Prof. C.J. Shishoo Award for Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2024), State Young Scientist Award in Biotechnology (2006), Best Teacher Award of Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (2016), SPSR Women in Pharmaceutical Research Excellence Award (2025), Pratibha Samman for Women Achiever in Education (2023) presented by Mrs. Sumitra Mahajanji, Dr. Ambikanandan Misra Award for Best Researcher in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2022) and C.G. Young Pharma women of Chhattisgarh in Pharma meet 2020 by IPA and CGYPA. She is the author of four books published by Elsevier and CRC Press, with two forthcoming volumes with CRC. Recognized globally, Dr. Singh has been listed among the world’s top 2% scientists in Pharmacy and Pharmacology, as identified by Stanford University for five consecutive years (2021–2025). She has served as Co-convener of the APTI Women Forum (2018–2022) and currently leads as President of the IPGA Chhattisgarh Branch and Recipient of IPGA Best state branch award 2024. Currently actively involved with women forum of IPGA and serving as Chairperson of the IPGA Women Forum national.

Prof. Vandana Garg

She is presently working as Professor in Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, M.D. University, Rohtak, Haryana. Her field of specialization is Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry. She is graduated with a degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) from H. N. B. Garhwal University, Srinagar. She completed her Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) from the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh and earned her Doctorate of Philosophy from PTU, Jalandhar. Her area of expertise in Tissue culture, Phytochemical screening, Preparation of extracts herbal drug design and development. She is currently working on identification and development of anti-cancer agents from natural sources. She is well versed with various analytical techniques used for isolation and characterization of phytochemicals and have more than 21 years of experience in academics. She has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers in the field of pharmaceutical sciences in national/ international reputed journals as well as 20 book chapters and 04 edited book and 11 patents in her credits. She had guided more than 25 students in their M. Pharmacy Projects 5 Ph. D Projects. Currently, Guiding 2 Ph. D students. She had delivered 30 guest lectures in various institutes and chaired more than 30 sessions in the various National and International conferences. She had completed a project sponsored by Haryana -DST Project worth 7,00,000 Lakhs. She is a member of various professional bodies like APTI, IPGA, IPA

Dr. Mahalakshmy.R

She is presently working as Drugs Inspector, Ernakulam, Kerala. Her fields of specialization are Pharmaceutical chemistry and Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs. She started her Pharma career with Diploma in Pharmacy from College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medical College,Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She graduated with First rank in Bachelor of Pharmacy from College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram,Kerala. Her Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) is from the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences,Medical College,Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala and earned her Doctorate of Philosophy from JSS College of Pharmacy,Mysore. She had completed Rashtra bhasha Praveen from Dakshin Bharath Hindi Prachar Sabha in addition to Pharmacy. She worked as Lecturer at National College of Pharmacy, Kozhikode, Kerala; Ezhuthachan College of Pharmacy.Thiruvananthapuram and Erode College of Pharmacy,Erode. She has more than 13 years of experience as a Drugs Inspector. She had initiated more than 15 prosecutions for violation of Drugs and Cosmetic Act,1940, Drugs and Magic Remedies Act,1954 and stopped sale of Not of Standard Quality Drugs/Misbranded Drugs and Cosmetics worth more than Rs. 30 lakhs. She has published peer-reviewed papers in the field of pharmaceutical sciences in national/ international reputed journals like Regulation of Controlled Drugs in Emerging Countries: Unique Attention to BRICS in Asian Journal of Pharmaceutics. She has delivered as resource person in Schools and Colleges for Anti-Microbial Resistance (AMR) Awareness Programs and Substance Abuse Awareness Programs. She has been a speaker of awareness programs for Registered Pharmacists since 2012. She acted as co-ordinator and evaluator for various national conferences like Kerala Pharmaceutical Congress, DCOIWA Conference, Webinars conducted by IPGA,KPGA,IPA etc. She is an Executive member of various professional bodies like Kerala Pharmacy Graduate Association (KPGA), Drugs Control Officers Welfare Association (DCOIWA), IPGA etc. She Secured 100% in National ONLINE QUIZ Competition related to DRUGS & COSMETICS ACT, 1940 on 7/25/2020 by DCO INDIA - DRUGS CONTROL FORUM. She was awarded for Best poem in the ALL INDIA TEACHER DAY poem writing competition conducted by Karnataka Pharmacy council in 2020. In addition to Professional Activities She had participated in various cultural programs conducted by Kerala Gazetted Officers Association and secured second prize in Group Dance,Third prize in OPPANA in State level Competitions (2022),Second Prize in Thiruvathira (2023).

She is presently working as Professor in Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, Noida. Her field of specialization is Pharmaceutical chemistry and Analysis. She started her Pharma career with Diploma in Pharmacy from Govt Polytechnic Hoshiarpur. She graduated with a degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) from S. B S , Dehradun. Her Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) is from the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh and earned her Doctorate of Philosophy from Gyan Vihar University Jaipur. Her research areas are Synthetic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Phytochemistry, IPR and Entrepreneurship. She is working in herbal compounds for targeting Diabetes, obesity, psoriasis and cancer in combinations with herbals and other analogs. She have more than 23 years of experience in academics. She has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers in the field of pharmaceutical sciences in national/ international reputed journals as well as 3 book chapters and 3 patents in her credits. She had guided more than 10 students in their M. Pharmacy Projects. Currently guiding 4 Ph. D students (01 awarded). Pharm.) from RR College of Pharmacy, Bangalore. Her Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) in Pharmacology is from the Hindu College of Pharmacy, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh and earned her Doctorate of Philosophy from Jawaharlal Technological University Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. Her research areas are Plant fibres having antimicrobial effect, Marine drugs, Behavioural Neurotoxicity, In silico studies, Food additives effects on mitochondria, anticancer activity and antifertility activity. She have 12 years of experience in academics. She has published more than 25 peer-reviewed papers in the field of pharmaceutical sciences in national/ international reputed journals as well as 1 Elsevier book chapter and 1 patent in her credits. Dr. Anju Goyal has dedicated 27 years to her role as a Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance at Faculty of Pharmacy in Udaipur, Rajasthan. She is life member of professional organizations, APTI (Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India), IPA (Indian Pharmaceutical Association), IPGA (Indian Pharmacological Society), and APP (Association of Pharmacy Professionals). Her significant contributions to research are evident in her extensive publication record, which includes over 150 articles in indexed national and international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Goyal has also authored three books tailored for B. Pharmacy and D. Pharmacy students, demonstrating her commitment to advancing pharmaceutical education. Dr. Goyal actively engages in scientific forums, presenting over 100 abstracts at various conferences. Her versatile role in national and international seminars and conferences, from organizer and convener to coordinator, invited speaker, evaluator, and chairperson of scientific sessions, showcases her leadership and expertise. In the realm of mentorship, Dr. Goyal has supervised more than 50 M. Pharm students and numerous B. Pharm projects. She has guided 16 scholars to the completion of their doctoral degrees, with 8 currently under her mentorship, highlighting her dedication to cultivating the next generation of pharmaceutical professionals. Dr. Goyal's editorial roles as Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board member, and Reviewer for various peer-reviewed national and international journals underscore her influence in shaping scholarly discourse. Her appointment as a final reviewer for the Monograph on Triphala (Three fruits) under the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia and Therapeutic Compendium in 2020 further emphasizes her global recognition. As the Convener of the APTI Women forum, Rajasthan State branch and West zone coordinator for the IPGA Women forum, Dr. Goyal actively contributes to the advancement of women in pharmaceutical academia. Her recent accolade, the Nari Shakti Shiromani Award in 2023,and IPGA Women Achiever award in 2025 is a testament to her outstanding contributions to the field.
