On 25 th September IPGA Telangana Secretary, Dr. V. Prabhakar Reddy has associated with CMR college of Pharmacy, Hyderabad and organized a webinar with the theme “Transforming global health” On 25 th September, 2020 IPGA Telangana Secretary, Dr. V. Prabhakar Reddy along with Treasurer Dr. G. Vijay Kumar and Mr. G. Koteshwar Rao conducted and coordinated a quiz. Registered Pharmacist Association, Mahabubnagar, Felicitated and appreciated Mr. Koteshwar Rao, President IPGA Telangana for his contribution of groceries to the Covid 19 sufferers along with the provision of Masks and Sanitizers in World Pharmacist Day Celebrations 25 th September, 2020.

IPGA Telangana Activities August 2020

Participation in the virtual meeting conducted by IPGA Executive Council Meeting on August 2 nd International Conference by IPGA Telangana in association With IPA, DCO India, Drugs control Forum, Telangana Drugs Control Officers Association, Indian Drug Manufacturers Association, Bulk Drug Manufacturing Association entitled “ Pharma Regulatory Affairs – Product Life Cycle Management” on 29 th August 2020. The event Convenor was Mr. G. Koteshwar Rao and the event Cordinators were Dr. V. Prabhakar Reddy, Secretary and Dr. P. Rajasekhar Joint Secretary. President IPGA Telangana along with Group admins of DCO India- Drugs Control Forum, conducted and cordinated Second Quiz for Nation Wide Drugs Control Officers on the eve of World Pharmacist Day on 25th September 2020 in collaboration with Pallavi Memorial Trust, Hyderabad. A prize money of Rs.25000 was awarded to the winner of quiz along with e-certificates to all the participants. Quiz Co-coordinator: Sri. Pawan K. Jaggi, Editor IPGA Today. Date: 25th Sep.2020 (World Pharmacists Day) Letter to IPGA members 22/09/2020 with new registrations and list of Telangana Members. Request for separation of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana branch and update of members. Voting held online for electing President, Vice President, Joint Secretaries and Treasurer and other EC members. Posting about the Pharma Government jobs and positions in Pharma companies in college principals groups.

National Deworming Day Awareness Programme by IPGA Udaipur Chapter Report: Awareness program on National Deworming Day”

One day awareness programme on Deworming was successfully completed on 04/09/2019 at theSeminar Hall, Bhupal Nobles’ University Udaipur. Previously one day workshop cumAwareness program for the students under 19 age of Udaipur region on “National Deworming Day” was on 03/09/2019 (Tuesday), but the programme was rescheduled on 04/09/2019 due tounavailability of prime speaker. The chief guest and key speaker was Dr. Rajesh Malik, MD Pediatrics, Medical Officer and a renowned child specialist from Udaipur region. Theprogramme was chaired by Dr.Mahendra Singh Ranawat, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, BhupalNobles’ University Udaipur. More than 200 participants including students and pharmacy professional attended theevent. The programme started by welcome of chief guest by garlanding Dr. Rajesh Malik by Dr.M. S. Ranawat&Dr. C. S. Chauhan.A welcome address was given by Dr.Mahendra Singh Ranawat, Dean, Faculty ofPharmacy, Bhupal Nobles’ University Udaipur. He focused on the National deworming aspectand need for the deworming in India, he explained the historical preview of Deworming daywhich was firstly conducted in February 2015. He also stressed on the prevention and controlmeasures of epidemic of the disease.The keynote speaker Dr. Rajesh Malik, explained very well in detail, what is deworming?Symptoms, cause, diagnosis, prevention and medication which is common problem in oursociety. Dr. Malik, conducted the lecture for about 2 hours, all the partcipants were benefited byhis message to the society, the participants also asked their querries and were satisfied by hisexpertise.The memento and a certificate of appreciation was presented to Dr. Rajesh Malik, fromIPGA Udaipur Chapter by Dr.Rajendra Pal Singh Rathore, President, Indian PharmacyGraduates’ Association, Udaipur Chapter, Dr. M. S. Ranawat and Dr.Chetan Singh Chauhanasa token of remembrance.

33rd Annual Conference of Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association Date : 2019-08-17

The 33rd Annual Conference of IPGA was organized by west Bengal state Branch at Kolkata, the city of joy. The 33rd Annual Conference of IPGA was inaugurated on 17.08.2019 at state of the art, internationally designed, Bishwa Bangla Convention Centre, Kolkata, West Bengal by Chief Guest Shri B R Sikri, Chairman, AB Merkentile group of companies, A renowned entrepreneur and the Guest of honours Shri Taranjit Singh (Chief Patron), a promoter of Education & Shri Atul Nasa, President IPGA & Controlling Authority, Drugs Control Department, NCT Delhi, in West Bengal by Lighting the auspicious Lamp. The conference was aimed to meet the challenges in Pharmacy Education and the students trained with attributes that include critical thinking, communication skills, digital adaption & global understanding. The initial discussion of conference was to make future graduate Pharmacists with enhanced Pharmacy Practice Skills and knowledge. The conference was attended by more than 600 delegates from all parts of the country.
